What I do
I remove the malware, check for anything left behind, update the system and help you change passwords and turn on two-step sign-in. If you've given a scammer access or paid them, I'll tell you who to contact, such as your bank.

Disconnect from the internet, then call me. Contact your bank straight away if you gave card or bank details. I'll check the machine and secure your accounts.
Do I need to pay for antivirus?
Windows has good built-in protection. A paid product can still make sense for some people, and I'll tell you honestly if it does.
